Wow, it was a beautiful evening. Milwaukee's Historic Third Ward was showing off for us! The sun was gleefully beaming down past the charming buildings. It was casting a warm and welcoming glow over the whole area. The air was filled with the infectious beats of lively music and the chatter of those around us at the beer garden. Sara and Israel were in their own little blissful bubble, completely wrapped up in each other. I suggested they take a seat next to a stunning display of vibrant flowers, drinks in hand, and they happily obliged. I decided to give them a little space to soak up the moment. And then, from my spot across the park, I saw it. The magic was real. There they were, chatting away amidst endless giggles and radiant smiles, utterly in tune with one another. It was like I wasn't there. Israel leaned over and gently kissed Sara on her cheek. Sara smiled and they continued enjoying the moment. It was like they were hanging out in their everyday, completely enamored with one another. It was like a scene straight out of a romance novel, one of those precious b-roll moments that show how a beautiful relationship is built. In that very moment, it was crystal clear – Sara and Israel were madly, deeply in love and find complete and utter peace in each other's company.
It was such a joy to witness this candid, heartwarming moment. Especially considering these two had told me they weren’t super comfortable in front of the camera (uh, could have fooled me!). Sara and Israel are so easygoing. They tried every pose and prompt I suggested and did so with smiles on their faces. They twirled around the park and ran hand and hand as if no one was watching. Israel constantly tried to make Sara laugh (because she has such a cute laugh) and was successful in every attempt. Sara and Israel showed me that they have such a playful relationship and all you want to do is smile when you are with them. Maybe it's their caring nature. Maybe it's their genuine friendliness. Or maybe it's because they have so much love for each other, their pups, and all of those around them. Maybe it's all of the above. Whatever the reason, all I know is that watching these two simply be themselves is truly heartwarming and special. But what made this candid moment between Sara and Israel stand out more than anything was the reminder it brought – to pause and appreciate the simple, quiet moments with our loved ones. This tiny memory, these seemingly insignificant instants, hold just as much power as the grand milestones and events in our lives. Because life moves fast. So why not enjoy a moment to sit in the park and just admire each other. Shower each other with love and affection. Have the deep conversations. But don't forget to flirt and make each other laugh.
